The bimonthly report “Piura: Business Observatory” presents analysis and evidence on economic, social, and business issues relevant to the Piura region. Using information from official sources such as the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI), the National Superintendency of Tax Administration (SUNAT), the Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and Private Pension Fund Administrators (SBS), the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP), and various ministries, the report analyzes regional indicators and trends to contribute to a better understanding of the local situation and promote informed discussion on development, competitiveness, productivity, employment, poverty, the business environment, and other topics of regional importance.
