Mechanical Engineer by profession, with over 25 years of experience in mechanical integrity and failure analysis of industrial equipment. Specialized in finite element and boundary element mechanical modeling.
Throughout his career, he has earned an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Technology from the University of Mar del Plata, Argentina. He received an honorable mention at the International Conference on Science and Technology of Composite Materials (COMAT-2001) for his work entitled: “BEM and Continuum Approach Analyses of Crack tip Shielding by Microcracking in Porous Materials”. A professor at the National University of Mar del Plata (Argentina) and the University of Seville (Spain), he has participated in numerous projects funded by international organizations and is the author of 100 publications in scientific journals and international conferences. As a technological researcher, he has participated in more than 200 projects on Structural Integrity Assessment and Failure Analysis in Peruvian and Latin American industry. He is a regular evaluator of research projects, an advisor for doctoral theses, and a contributor of scientific articles to internationally peer-reviewed journals. |
