Matilde Fernández de Romero

Master's degree in Chemical Engineering and PhD in Electrochemistry. He has over 35 years of professional experience.

She holds NACE certification in the following courses: Internal Corrosion, Integrity Management (PCIM), Corrosion Control in the Refining Industry, and Cathodic Protection I and II. She has published over 60 articles in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals indexed in the Science Citation Index and over 80 papers at conferences. She has been an invited speaker at national and international conferences in Venezuela, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, and Ecuador.

Currently, he is President and Technical Manager of INTERNATIONAL CORROSION SERVICE AND SUPPLY INCORS SAC. In October 2016, he received the Professional Distinction Award from NACE Latin America in recognition of his contributions to the scientific understanding of corrosion and its control.

Johnny E. Ortiz

Mechanical Engineer by profession, with over 25 years of experience in mechanical integrity and failure analysis of industrial equipment. Specialized in finite element and boundary element mechanical modeling.

Throughout his career, he has earned an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Technology from the University of Mar del Plata, Argentina. He received an honorable mention at the International Conference on Science and Technology of Composite Materials (COMAT-2001) for his work entitled: “BEM and Continuum Approach Analyses of Crack tip Shielding by Microcracking in Porous Materials”.

A professor at the National University of Mar del Plata (Argentina) and the University of Seville (Spain), he has participated in numerous projects funded by international organizations and is the author of 100 publications in scientific journals and international conferences. As a technological researcher, he has participated in more than 200 projects on Structural Integrity Assessment and Failure Analysis in Peruvian and Latin American industry. He is a regular evaluator of research projects, an advisor for doctoral theses, and a contributor of scientific articles to internationally peer-reviewed journals.


Rosalba Guerrero

Doctor of Industrial Engineering from the University of Oviedo (Spain).

He published the books: Diagnosis of the foundry sector in northern Peru and Manual of good practices for micro and small foundry companies.

 


Dante Guerrero Chanduví

Master's in Engineering with a specialization in sustainable development projects from the Polytechnic University of Madrid; Industrial Engineer and Bachelor of Education from the University of Piura. He has spearheaded approximately 30 development projects with international cooperation. Author of more than 60 scientific articles and several books. Full Professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Piura.

 


Miguel Castro

Doctor of Industrial Engineering from the University of Navarra, Spain. Mechanical-Electrical Engineer from the University of Piura, Piura, Peru. Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Piura, Piura, Peru. He has participated as principal investigator and collaborating researcher in several projects in partnership with CONCYTEC, FONDECYT, and Prociencia. Full Professor at the University of Piura, teaching undergraduate courses in Mechanical Design 2 (Piura Campus), Programming and Numerical Methods, and Theory of Machines. He also teaches in specialized Master's and Doctoral programs at the University of Piura. Author of several scientific articles in indexed and non-indexed journals.

 

 


Jorge Yaksetig

Master's degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Energy and Maintenance from the University of Piura. Industrial Engineer from the University of Piura and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the University of Piura, Peru. He has participated in several projects and consultancies at the regional and national levels in partnership with recognized and prestigious companies. He teaches undergraduate courses in Manufacturing Technology, Maintenance, and Graphic Representation in the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering academic program. He also teaches in specialized programs and the Master's program at the University of Piura. He is the author of the book "Mechanical Technology Laboratory Practice. Piura: University of Piura." He has also authored several scientific articles in indexed and non-indexed journals.

Mariela García

She holds a PhD in Business Administration from IESE Business School at the University of Navarra and a Master's degree in Marriage and Family from the same university. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Piura. She is a senior professor of Organizational Governance and Leadership, a member of the board of directors of the ICF (International Council of Family Business), former dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, and former vice-rector of the University of Piura.


Gloria Huarcaya
