The Master's Program in Structural Integrity has the following main objectives:

  • To contribute to the country with highly qualified personnel, mainly involved in the areas of processes, operation and maintenance within the different industrial companies, and the dissemination and application of the different techniques, methodologies to minimize the occurrence of failures.
  • Develop applied research in damage detection and the study of deterioration mechanisms of components in service.
  • To promote the knowledge and use of technologies and methodologies in the area of structural integrity that help the industry to face its current challenges, seeking innovations that add value.
  • To broaden the students' research vision by seeking interaction with national and international professionals.
  • Create scenarios for master's theses to address specific problems in technological and/or productive sectors.
