IX Specialization Program in Agroindustrial Management

It is undeniable that in recent years our region has taken off in the agroindustrial sector. To traditional products such as mango and lemon, organic bananas, grapes, coffee, cocoa, among others, have been added. Within this context we have designed this program for those professionals and executives who develop activities in private or family agro-industrial companies, and for those who wish to undertake new projects in this area.

Program candidate profile

The Specialization Program in Agroindustrial Management is aimed at professionals from various specialties such as: agronomy, agricultural engineering, food industries, industrial engineering, zootechnics, forestry engineering, business administration, international business, among others, who work as managers, heads of area, supervisors or executives who are directly or indirectly linked to agroindustrial activities.

Graduation profile

They will develop professional skills to:

  • Hold positions in operations management or senior management of agro-industrial companies.
  • Identify and manage agricultural processes throughout the entire production chain to efficiently serve agroindustrial markets.
  • Know the modern techniques involved in agri-food production processes.
  • Master the methods of study, registration and analysis of the dominant factors of the national and international environment.
  • Manage the finances of agroindustrial companies, including the evaluation of investments, capital structure and traditional and non-traditional financing.
  • Apply operation and analysis techniques and tools in the different functional areas of agroindustrial companies to control costs, quality and compliance with delivery commitments.
  • Know and apply the quality and safety standards accepted for agroindustrial companies.
