Serenade for joy

It is a program whose purpose was the intangible reconstruction of the “La Campiña” community, affected by El Niño Costero 2017. Prior to the final performance of “Serenata por la salud”, 26 children from the community were introduced to the musical world through of 20 sessions of notions of music and the proper use of instruments, so that the children can brighten their souls and also become drivers of happiness and optimism for their environment.

Progress or Results


The final performance of the Christmas carols was held on December 13, 2017 on the stage of the University of Piura, where 26 children from “La Campiña” participated, who transformed sadness into joy through music. Students from the Faculty of Communication participated in the project with graphic, textual and audiovisual documentation; as well as the live broadcast via YouTube so that the joy reaches everywhere.
