The Audiovisual Communication degree trains professionals who stand out for their creativity to produce stories that are capable of recreating the human condition and promoting culture in today's dynamic media ecosystem. Culture of Image and Photography

The objective of this area is to discover the potential of the still image as a means of expression and communication and to review in a panoramic way the modalities of visual communication in its cultural manifestations, especially in what happened in the 19th century with the appearance of photography. which begins the era of reproducibility. The aim is for the student to be the creator of photographic images and to master photographic production techniques.

Language and Audiovisual Aesthetics

In this area of knowledge, students learn to recognize the different elements of language and audiovisual aesthetics and master their uses, functions and the nomenclature by which they are recognized in the professional field. This is the key to building a visual story.

Narrative and Screenwriting

The aim is for the student to know narrative theory so that they are able to tell stories, identifying the different dramatic elements of the narrative and assessing the effectiveness of a well-told story. Thus, in this area of knowledge, the student learns to use the audiovisual elements that come together in writing a script: sound, color, light, space and movement; and the notion of structure: order and composition.

Audiovisual production

In this area, the student explores how technical knowledge and skills come together with artistic and creative principles when creating an audiovisual product. The aim is for the student to know the elements, procedures and operations of a technical-artistic nature necessary to make an audiovisual product.

Audiovisual production

In this area, the stages of pre-production, production and post-production of fiction and entertainment content are learned. Thus, students will have to create audiovisual products and perform the different functions that can be had in a production company, carrying an idea through table work, filming, post-production and presentation of the final product.

Editing and Postproduction

The editing and post-production area seeks for the student to master the tools and techniques of editing audiovisual content to take advantage of its communicative potential in fiction stories and entertainment programs.
