Media Map Peru

“Media Map” is a pioneering platform in Peru, created to address the importance of identifying and showcasing the evolution and development of media and online media throughout the country. This project has made the data obtained through this research available to the community, enabling them to recognize all existing media outlets and access new ones, allowing them to compare information and stay better informed.

Information

The research and data analysis was carried out during the months of August to December 2020, by 62 third-year students, as part of one of the learning modules developed within the subject of Digital Communication of the Faculty of Communication.

Progress or Results

It is a project that identifies 623 media outlets, cybermedia and information initiatives in its first stage of research into the media ecosystem of Tumbes, Piura and Lambayeque.
