- Differentiate the concepts and structures that distinguish the family business from the entrepreneurial family.
- Understanding the relationships between people in the company's main governing bodies and the family.
Due to the long-standing importance of family businesses, it is relevant to recognize the intergenerational impact on the organization's structure:
- Differentiate the culture of the main generations, such as founders, siblings, or cousins.
- Identify responsibilities in the different hierarchies of the organization.
- To project the planning of the business family and family business towards the future and the long term.
- Parallel planning (family-business), as a method to achieve objectives and develop plans under a shared vision and a values-based culture.
Having established the importance of presenting succession as a process, emphasis will be placed on its main characteristics:
- Understanding the sequence compares or a process for it to be successfully completed.
- Strengthening succession through professionalization, entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainability.
- Define the responsibility of the Family Council to the governance of the business family.
- Strengthen the concept of the family protocol and provide a guide for its implementation.
- This session will last 2 hours and will take place after the program has finished. The day and time of the session will be coordinated with each family.
- The current challenges of the family business and the entrepreneurial family will be identified, in accordance with what was identified during the program.
- A roadmap of the improvements will be completed for future implementation.
