The specialized program in Data Science | Data-Driven Decisions is designed for professionals from diverse disciplines who wish to acquire practical tools and approaches for applying data science to organizational decision-making. In an environment where data has become a strategic asset, this program provides solid training that enables participants to identify opportunities for improvement, solve complex problems, and generate value in their respective areas.
The content has been carefully structured to guide participants from the fundamentals to the use of advanced techniques, requiring no prior knowledge of programming or statistics. Through a practical, interdisciplinary, and problem-oriented methodology, the program offers a learning experience focused on data analysis with business impact.
The program's distinctive approach lies in its action-oriented focus: participants not only acquire theoretical knowledge but also apply it in real-world settings. The instructors are professionals with experience applying analytics in various sectors (finance, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, public sector, etc.), enriching the learning experience with practical case studies and concrete examples.
Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to:
- Understand the fundamental concepts of data science, analytics, and artificial intelligence applied to decision-making in organizational contexts.
- Apply analytical techniques and tools to solve real-world problems and improve decision-making in different functional areas of the business
- Analyze complex datasets using statistical tools, the Python programming language, and specialized libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn, among others.
- Evaluate the impact of different analytical solutions on strategic business objectives and formulate evidence-based recommendations.
- Design innovative advanced analytics solutions that integrate machine learning and artificial intelligence to generate sustainable competitive advantages.
- Communicate Present analytical findings clearly and effectively, adapting visualizations and reports to technical and non-technical audiences to facilitate decision-making.
- Graduates from various disciplines who wish to enter the world of data science without prior experience.
- Executives, managers, and middle managers of companies seeking to understand and use Data Science to solve problems or provide information to make smart decisions.
- Entrepreneurs interested in using data to grow their businesses.
- Professionals in areas such as marketing, sales, BI, finance, operations, human resources, consulting, technology, health, among others, who need to incorporate analytical tools into their professional practice.
The program combines theory and practice in an interactive virtual environment, focusing on the immediate application of learned concepts. It includes online masterclasses led by experienced data science instructors, as well as practical activities and exercises in each session.
As the core of the learning process, participants will develop an Integrative Project based on a real-world case study related to their work environment or personal interests. This project is structured using the CRISP-DM methodology and is developed progressively throughout the program. At the end of each module, two deliverables are submitted: a draft of the Integrative Project report and a Python notebook containing the corresponding practical work.
