Module I: Introduction to integrated management systems

DescriptionThis introductory module on Integrated Management Systems (IMS) provides an overview of the main business management systems, including quality management, environmental management, occupational health and safety management, and asset management of an organization.

AimUnderstand the basic concepts of integrated management systems. Recognize the benefits of implementing an integrated management system.

Module II: Structure and requirements of integrated management systems

DescriptionThis module is designed to provide participants with in-depth knowledge of the structure and requirements of integrated management systems (IMS) using a case study methodology. These systems cover key areas such as quality, safety, occupational health, environment, and asset management. IMS offer an efficient and effective way to integrate and align multiple management systems, enabling organizations to optimize resources, improve performance, and comply with applicable regulations and standards.

Aim: Understand the requirements of notified international management standards and the usefulness of Annex SL of ISO high-performance standards. Develop skills for the design and implementation of an integrated management system.

Module III: Audit Procedures and Techniques Description

DescriptionThis module offers comprehensive training in the auditing procedures and techniques applicable to the management systems ISO 45001:2018 Amd 1:2024, ISO 14001:2015 Amd 1:2024, ISO 9001:2015: Amd 1:2024 and ISO 55001:2024. Throughout the module, participants will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively plan, execute and report internal and external audits, with the objective of evaluating compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as the effectiveness of the management systems implemented in organizations, based on the ISO 19011:2018 standard.

AimLearn auditing techniques to evaluate the effectiveness of a quality management system, an organization's environmental performance and its impact on the environment, risk assessment and hazard identification in the workplace, compliance with legal requirements, and the life cycle assessment of assets and optimization of their performance. Learn to effectively audit quality, occupational health and safety, environmental management, and asset management processes, and to make risk-based decisions.

Module IV: Management of Findings and Non-Conformities Description

DescriptionThis module is presented as specialized training that equips participants to identify, record, analyze, and resolve deviations in quality, environmental, occupational health and safety, and asset management systems. It covers the correct drafting of nonconformities, root cause analysis, implementation and monitoring of corrective actions, all aligned with current regulatory requirements to ensure continuous improvement.

AimThe course aims to develop the following competencies in participants: Improved effectiveness of integrated management systems by providing practical tools for the efficient handling of nonconformities and findings, facilitating evidence-based decision-making; reduced risks and costs associated with non-compliance by strengthening the organization's ability to detect and correct deviations before they negatively impact operations or customer satisfaction; and increased competence and preparedness of personnel, enabling management system managers and internal auditors to develop skills for conducting effective audits and properly managing findings.
