We train teachers who value the Spanish language to teach communication in diverse sociocultural environments

The Academic Program trains professionals capable of working as Language and Literature teachers in secondary and higher educational institutions, with a clear disciplinary, pedagogical and didactic mastery of the components of Spanish linguistics and literature, with an updated approach to communication to promote learning in diverse sociocultural contexts.

Verbal aptitude in the command of the Spanish language, oral and written expression skills, interest in literary communication, professional identity with teaching work, social sensitivity and desire to generate sustainable changes, ability to work as a team, openness to the use of different tools to generate learning.

Graduation profile

He has linguistic knowledge at the different levels of the Spanish language: phonic, grammatical and lexico-semantic, from current currents and approaches to Spanish linguistics. Master knowledge of universal, Latin American, Spanish and Peruvian literature to teach reading and commenting on literary texts. Master educational and pedagogical knowledge to apply it in the teaching of language and literature. Has research competence in education.

It corresponds to the proposal of subjects for the introduction to university and institutional culture, some of which may be preparatory to the degree. Considers aspects that ensure the comprehensive training of the person and the professional future. The curriculum covers aspects related to leadership, ethics, pre-professional practices and all knowledge deemed essential for comprehensive training: first aid, pediatrics and nutrition, occupational health, etc.
