We train English Language teachers capable of working in diverse contexts related to the teaching and learning of the English language.

The Academic Program trains professionals capable of working as English Language teachers in public or private educational institutions, institutes, universities and other educational centers, and in training programs and various projects related to the teaching, learning and application of the foreign language.

Admission profile

Verbal aptitude in the command of English as a foreign language, oral and written expression skills, social sensitivity and desire to generate changes, ability to work as a team, identity with the teaching work and openness to the use of different tools to generate learning.

Graduation profile

Has linguistic knowledge (phonics, morphosyntactic and lexico-semantic) of the English language. Master the knowledge of basic general knowledge of comprehensive training and didactics for teaching English as a foreign language. In addition, he has communication skills: he knows how to speak, he knows how to listen, he knows how to read, he knows how to write and he has research skills to address problems in the educational field.

It corresponds to the proposal of subjects for the introduction to university and institutional culture, some of which may be preparatory to the degree. Considers aspects that ensure the comprehensive training of the person and the professional future. The curriculum covers aspects related to leadership, ethics, pre-professional practices and all knowledge deemed essential for comprehensive training: first aid, pediatrics and nutrition, occupational health, etc.
