Duration is 4 years undergraduate UDEP + 1 year undergraduate GMU + 1 year postgraduate GMU.

About the program

Requirements

  • Be enrolled in your 4th year of undergraduate studies in the Industrial and Systems Engineering program.
  • Have completed 200 credits.
  • Minimum cumulative index of 13.
  • Have one of the following English certifications: TOEFL IBT (80) or IELTS (6.5) or Duolingo (120), PTE (67).
  • CV, essay (optional) and transcript in English.

What is the internal selection process like?

  • The student contacts their program director, depending on the campus they belong to.
  • The applicant applies to the BAM (Bachelor's to Accelerated Master's Application) at GMU.
  • The applicant submits the corresponding documentation + letter of acceptance to BAM.
  • After completing his 4th year, the student arrives at GMU to begin his master's program and complete his undergraduate degree.

List of master's degrees offered

  • Master's degree in Systems Engineering or Operations Research, offered by the Department of Systems.
  • Engineering and Operations Research (SEOR) at GMU.

Important dates

  • Fall Semester Call for Applications (August): Apply by March 1st.
  • Spring Semester Call for Applications (January) Apply by October 1st.

Benefits

Student health insurance included (with the option to submit an equivalent policy). Master's program begins immediately after completing the final year of undergraduate studies. UDEP students may apply for on-campus housing according to GMU policies. UDEP students receive the same benefits as any GMU student.
