Introduction to integrated management systems

Description: This introductory module on Integrated Management Systems (IMS) provides an overview of the main business management systems, including quality management, environmental management, occupational health and safety management, and asset management of an organization.

Goals:

Understand the basic concepts of integrated management systems.

Recognize the benefits of implementing an integrated management system.

Structure and requirements of integrated management systems

Description: This module is designed to provide participants with in-depth knowledge of the structure and requirements of integrated management systems (IMS) using a case study methodology. These systems cover key areas such as quality, safety, occupational health, environment, and asset management. IMS offer an efficient and effective way to integrate and align multiple management systems, enabling organizations to optimize resources, improve performance, and comply with applicable regulations and standards.

Goals:

To understand the requirements of notified international management standards and the usefulness of Annex SL of ISO high-performance standards.

Develop skills for the design and implementation of an integrated management system.

Audit Procedures and Techniques

Description: This module offers comprehensive training in the auditing procedures and techniques applicable to the management systems ISO 45001:2018 Amd 1:2024, ISO 14001:2015 Amd 1:2024, ISO 9001:2015: Amd 1:2024 and ISO 55001:2014. Throughout the module, participants will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively plan, conduct and report internal and external audits, with the aim of evaluating compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as the effectiveness of the management systems implemented in organizations, based on the ISO 19011:2018 standard.

Goals:

Learn auditing techniques to evaluate the effectiveness of the quality management system, the environmental performance of an organization and its impact on the environment, risk assessment and hazard identification in the workplace, as well as compliance with legal requirements, and the evaluation of the life cycle of assets and the optimization of their performance.

Learn to effectively audit quality, occupational health and safety, environmental management, and asset management processes and risk-based decision making.
