Specialized Finance Program

The program consists of 80 hours of instruction.*

Module 1: Financial Mathematics

The basic concepts of finance will be explained, allowing you to understand, among other things, how to calculate the monthly fee charged by a financial institution when granting a loan, how to read a payment schedule, how to calculate and interpret the NPV and IRR criteria when evaluating an investment, how much you have to pay the bank if you pay installments in advance, and how much you have to pay monthly when refinancing a loan.

Module 2: Financial Analysis

To achieve the company's economic and financial sustainability, it is necessary to align the company's strategy with the availability of financial and non-financial resources. This module will focus on the use of key financial statement analysis tools to help understand how economic value is generated within the company. Furthermore, it will be important to understand how companies should strategically finance their growth.

Module 3: Investment Project Evaluation

The methodology of projected cash flows will be analyzed as an investment analysis tool. The concepts used in the economic and financial evaluation of projects will be studied, including the construction and evaluation of cash flows. The various criteria for evaluating an investment project and developing its financial profile at each stage will also be taught.

Module 4: Risk Analysis in Projects

To properly evaluate investments, it's essential to assess the relationship between profitability and risk. This course will cover the application of sensitivity and scenario analysis for risk assessment and will introduce simulation as a risk management tool.

Module 5: Financial Markets

The objective of this module is to understand how money markets and stock markets work and how these markets are used to carry out investment and financing operations for the company.
