The Specialized Program in Taxation aims to train participants in the knowledge of business taxation, from a theoretical and practical perspective. To this end, the University of Piura offers a solid academic foundation based on the study of the fundamentals of taxation, contentious and non-contentious procedures, income and consumption taxation, the tax impact of international financial reporting standards, and international taxation.
The specialized program is primarily focused on the study of business taxation. Consequently, the various sectors of Tax Law are addressed with a dynamic spirit, equally prioritizing the systematic study of each tax, with emphasis on those issues that reveal greater usual and practical significance in professional practice and that are considered advanced in current taxation.
Participants
The specialized program is aimed at professionals working in the tax area of State agencies, law firms, companies, accounting firms and/or auditing firms, people who participate in the formulation of tax policies and in strategic business planning, who are aware of the need to expand their knowledge of the tax area, due to the importance of the tax effects of all kinds of businesses or ventures.
