The program

The Specialization Program in Maintenance Engineering and Asset Management seeks to ensure that professionals related to this task adequately address the challenges of the current industry that translate, among other aspects, into: the optimal use of resources (economic, human, materials and spare parts), the continuous improvement of processes and, above all, the guarantee of the functioning of the assets; all this without losing business perspective.

Whatever the economic sector in question, that is, Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Mining, Fisheries, Transportation, Services, etc., all of them require an effective and efficient maintenance and asset management area that acts as one of the most important elements for achieving business competitiveness and operation in the current economic framework of global competition.

 

Aim
  • Train professionals to optimally manage the organization's assets through the implementation of the different strategies and methodologies provided by the current tools and experiences available today.
  • Develop and implement a maintenance and asset management model appropriate to your specific processes accompanied by a support organization for optimal decision making.
  • Design the various maintenance and asset management strategies, manage the maintenance and asset management optimization methodologies (TPM, RCM, RBM, etc.).
  • Direct the most appropriate maintenance strategy, based on the use of technical indicators (RAMS), management indicators (MPrv/MC, etc.), and quality tools (AMEF, Pareto, etc.), based on cycle optimization life of the assets and supported with computer tools to achieve operational excellence and the highest levels of competitiveness.

  • Managers, superintendents, bosses, planners, programmers, supervisors, professionals and technicians related to the asset maintenance function of facilities, equipment and industrial services, of goods manufacturing companies and/or service providing companies.
  • People who have extensive business experience in executive positions or in consulting activities in the same areas.

  • Analyze and make optimal decisions related to the maintenance and asset management function.
  • Manage assets through planning, scheduling, execution, performance measurement and auditing processes on a regular basis.
  • Understand the importance of formal asset management plan implementation processes in your organization.
  • Work with operational maintenance systems, which typically fall into a computer-aided maintenance management system.
  • Maintain a correct level of asset performance.
  • Design an environment for appropriate management of materials, spare parts and labor for asset maintenance.
  • Seek a high level of staff development in the area of asset management so that they can lead the organization towards operational excellence.
