The following is informed: undergraduate students of the Faculty of Law interested in attending the XI Public Law Convention and VI Private Law Convention, that this will take place on Friday, September 18th and Saturday, September 19th of this year at the Piura campus.
To obtain the certificate of participation, attendance at all scheduled sessions is required. The certificate will be issued virtually.
However, if students have pre-scheduled classes that conflict with the event, they must indicate, at the time of registration and by emailing the convention organizers (convencionderecho@udep.edu.pe), the specific courses and times that will prevent them from attending. This information will be reviewed by the organizing committee, and once confirmed, the corresponding certificate will be issued as an exception.
On the other hand, the Law School Council has approved the validation as a free configuration course of the XI Public Law Convention and VI Private Law Convention for undergraduate students of the Piura campus.
The requirements to obtain this validation are as follows:
Students must have 100% attendance at the scheduled activities, except for the previously indicated exception.
1. Before the event, inform the academic secretariat of your registration certificate and expressly state your desire for validation.
2. During the event, register your attendance before the start of the Convention. This step is mandatory for validation purposes.
3. After the event, present a well-founded review of one of the presentations addressed during the Convention.

- The work must be sent to the email address convenionderecho@udep.edu.pe no later than Monday, September 28th at 11:59 pm.

- The review should have a maximum length of 2 pages, and include the student's name, university code and campus to which they belong.

- The file must be submitted in Word format and titled with the following format: “first name.last name” (for example: maria.lopez).

- The attached review format which must be used.
4. Once attendance has been verified and the work approved, the student will be notified to register their application in SIGA, within the deadline determined by the academic secretariat.
5. Students who complete the entire procedure will receive credit for two free-choice credits in the 2027-I period.
