About the magazine
The Law Review is a publication of the Faculty of Law at the University of Piura. With a multidisciplinary approach, it seeks to explore in depth the various branches of law, offering a space for the critical analysis of issues affecting both the academic and professional spheres.
Committed to academic rigor, the journal is open access, international, double-blind peer-reviewed, non-profit, and features original research articles, essays, case law notes and commentaries, as well as analyses of current legal issues. Through its annual editions, the journal seeks to establish itself as a key reference for the legal community, contributing to the development and strengthening of legal thought in Peru and internationally.
Goals
The editorial focus of this journal is to promote the development of knowledge in the field of law by disseminating theoretical, legal, case-based, and methodological material on diverse legal issues and their practical application. Through the publication of original academic works, it seeks to contribute to reflection and the advancement of legal disciplines, fostering intellectual debate that drives the evolution of the field of law in both academic and professional settings.

Frequency and format
The Law Review is published annually (December) in electronic format. In this format, the publishing entity adheres to the open access policy, which permits the downloading, distribution, copying, and printing of published material without any restrictions. This ensures free and unrestricted access to information, eliminating economic, technical, or legal barriers for all readers. In this way, equitable access to knowledge is fostered, significantly contributing to academic and scientific advancement and generating concrete contributions that enrich the field of research and the dissemination of knowledge in the discipline of Law.
The research, which must be original and unpublished, will be received during the specific (annual) call that takes place during the period established by the Editorial Board.
In all cases, those interested in submitting their work must strictly adhere to the instructions and writing guidelines defined for authors, adapting their manuscripts to the established requirements to ensure their quality and consistency. It is essential that each submission conforms to the editorial guidelines to facilitate its evaluation.

The University of Piura Law Review invites academics, researchers, and legal professionals to submit original articles for its Volume 25, corresponding to the year 2025. This issue will focus on the analysis and reflection on various contemporary legal issues, ranging from theoretical and doctrinal topics to practical and methodological cases that promote discussion and advancement in the different branches of law within the academic and professional spheres.
