Presentation

Smart organizations are those that learn from the crises others have suffered before they happen to them. With proper crisis management, they will be prepared to decide immediately whether to accept responsibility for what happened, defend themselves if they are innocent, or launch an investigation and accept its findings if the truth is unknown.

Today, more than ever, educational institutions must be aware of the risks they face in order to manage them effectively. In this context, it is essential to understand their stakeholders, as well as the dynamics of public opinion and social media, to plan for and manage potential crisis situations.

The Faculty of Communication at UDEP, in partnership with University Governance and Reputation Centre of the University of Navarra (Spain) is organizing this specialized program, which will address the essential issues for crisis management, taking into account the reality of Peruvian educational institutions in a globalized context.
