In a globalized economy, the various users of financial information, including companies, require financial information that complies with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) to guarantee the reliability of the information.
Furthermore, when measuring and presenting their operations in the Financial Statements, companies must comply with the provisions of IFRS, in accordance with the requirements of both Peruvian and international accounting regulations (IFRS).
In the specific case of Peru, according to the regulations of the Accounting Standards Board, companies not supervised by the Superintendency of the Securities Market (SMV), that is, those not listed and classified according to their income level, are required to apply full IFRS or IFRS for SMEs.
Given this context, and considering that mastering these standards and their updates is essential for professionals involved in the management and analysis of financial information, the University of Piura offers the Specialized Program in IFRS. This program aims to ensure the correct preparation, presentation, and analysis of financial information, as well as contribute to more efficient financial decision-making.
The objective of the program is to train professionals in the theoretical and practical aspects of IFRS regulations regarding current financial and sustainability standards and with greater impact on the preparation of Financial Statements.
