Clinical Rotation – Oncological Critical Care

 The rotation

Critically ill cancer patients represent one of the greatest challenges in hospital medicine due to the complexity of their clinical presentations, the coexistence of multiple comorbidities, and the need for rapid and coordinated interventions. Care in specialized oncology critical care units demands advanced knowledge, specific technical skills, and a strong capacity for teamwork.

The Clinical rotation in Oncological Critical Care This program aims to address this training need by allowing students to actively participate in the care of critically ill cancer patients. During this experience, students will integrate into multidisciplinary teams, participate in the clinical evaluation and monitoring of patients, discuss complex cases in clinical sessions, and strengthen their technical and analytical skills in a highly demanding and specialized environment.
