During the Call, the student's profile is evaluated according to the application documents required during each phase of the process. Only those in PDF format and in accordance with the attached model (if specified) will be evaluated.

Procedures

Phase 01 - Application

  1. Complete the IAESTE Call Form.
  2. Send the application documents with subject: CALL 2019/2020 – First and Last Name – UNIVERSITY ACRONYMS to peru.iaeste@gmail.comThe documents indicated below must be in a single pdf in the following ORDER (except payment voucher):• CV in English. (Download model Spanish – English)
    • List of courses completed at the University up to the time of application. (Include a brief description in English of each of them and their respective notes). (See model). Also attach the record of courses and grades obtained from your university system, from the 1st to the last cycle taken.
    • Screenshot of your University's Intranet showing the current cycle and the accumulated average. Certificate of Enrollment. (Attached file.** (Signed and sealed by the Faculty Secretary).
    • Personal presentation/motivation letter in English addressed to IAESTE Peru.
    • Scanned voucher for payment of the application fee (S/.90.00) to the BCP account 475-1560323016. Place your name and ID on the voucher. Send in the same application email but in a separate pdf, file saved with your name and surname – IAESTE.

At the end of the registration period (receipt of the Call form and initial documentation), a SKYPE interview will be coordinated. Only complete and correctly completed files will be taken to the interview. Communication will be made the first week of October.

• This interview will be completely in English.
• Approximate duration of 15 m.
• The aim is to know the student's profile and personal development.

According to the score obtained, the results of Phase 01 will be communicated to each applicant.

Phase 02 – English Evaluation

** According to the results obtained in the previous phase, students must pass the English test.

If the student has an international test such as the TOEFL or IELTS with a good score, they can present this document to replace the evaluation in IAESTE format.

English exam to obtain the Language Certificate.

  • It will be taken at the Language Center of your University or at the UDEP Language Center in accordance with criteria established by IAESTE.
  • Submit the printed MODEL of the Language Certificate to the Exam, including your personal information. (Header data)
  • Failure to comply with this requirement within the established deadlines means being eliminated from the process. Likewise, if the level of English is below what is expected, the students will not pass the final selection.
  • As is known, IAESTE is a place exchange program. If the eligible student has the possibility of obtaining a place in Peru for exchange, his or her chances of obtaining an Internship Offer from abroad will increase. For more information, contact us at: peru.iaeste@gmail.com

Phase 03 – Application to companies

Selected students will obtain information about available places and must forward their documents to apply to the companies that offer places, as indicated.

  1. Exchange of places during the IAESTE International Conference.
  2. Publication and assignment of places.
    • Publication on our website or sending by email the places obtained. (O-Form)
    • Select the place of interest and send an email with the subject: – PLACE 2020 – Name and surname and place code (reference number) to peru.iaeste@gmail.com.
    • IAESTE Peru will assign the place according to the student's profile
  3. Forward the final application documents (and update them if necessary) in a single email to peru.iaeste@gmail.com with subject: PLAZA 2019 – Name and surname, and place code to apply. Documents must be sent in a single pdf in the following order.
    • Student Nominated. (Format)
    • CV. MODEL
    • Motivation Letter. (improve the application letter), indicating:
      • Reference to the job description (O-Form) and information known about the company to apply.
      • Reason why you wish to apply for said position.
      • Reasons that indicate that you are the ideal candidate for the position.
      • Additional factors that show your motivation and skills for the exchange.
    • List of courses. MODEL attached.**
    • Certificate of Enrollment.
    • Language Certificate.
    • Additional certificate of English or from a Seminar, Diploma, Student Organization, etc. (If written in Spanish, attach a translation).
    • Copy of passport. (data page).
  4. IAESTE PERÚ will send the applicant's nomination to the employer.
  5. A response is obtained from the Employer, including documentation intended for the student to present to the Embassy. Employer has the power to accept or reject the applicant.
  6. Visa processing.
  7. Voucher for payment of the seat fee to IAESTE Perú (S/.900.00) to the BCP account 475-1560323016. Place your name and ID on the voucher. This payment is made by those students accepted by the employer and who have completed their travel procedures. (visa, insurance, etc.).

 

 

Commitments assumed by the Selected Student
If accepted by the company:

• Carry out the VISA process (if necessary).
• Process medical insurance against all risks that must cover you during your entire stay abroad.
• Obtain round trip ticket.
• Solve your expenses during the first month of internship. Subsequently, the salary obtained will cover your needs.
• Complete and sign the Confirmation of Acceptance (N5-b), included in the documentation sent by the employer.
