The Clinical rotation in Neurology The aim is to consolidate this learning in a hospital setting, where students will actively participate in the assessment and follow-up of patients with acute neurological conditions. During this experience, they will be integrated into the clinical activities of the service, including consultations, neurological emergencies, hospitalization, and diagnostic support, under the supervision of professionals with extensive experience in the field.
- Identify the main neurological diseases, understanding their pathophysiology and clinical presentation.
- Recognize relevant neurological signs and symptoms, even in patients with primary non-neurological diagnoses.
- Develop practical and clinical skills through active discussion of real cases with the medical team.
- Optimize your diagnostic and therapeutic capacity in acute and complex neurological pathologies.
Students of the Professional School of Human Medicine who meet the following requirements:
- Having successfully completed the Medical Clinic 1 course.
- Have a cumulative index equal to or greater than 14.
- Enrich your academic and clinical experience through immersion in a highly complex clinical environment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals who handle emergencies.

- Obtain a certificate of participation awarded by the Faculty of Human Medicine of UDEP.
