Research assistantships

It is the strategy for promoting scientific research whereby a student assists a researcher in Research and Development (R&D) activities in accordance with the Research Assistantship Plan derived from a research project, and under the responsibility of the researcher.
The usual duration is one academic year, unless an extension request submitted by the principal investigator to the Research Unit is approved. Activities are carried out in the laboratories of the University of Piura, its hospital facilities, and/or at the locations specified in the R&D project.
