Presentation
The University of the Americas (UDLA) is a private, non-profit university, founded in 1988 and institutionally accredited for five years. With eight campuses and a community of over 33,000 students and 79,000 alumni, it has established itself as a widely accessible institution. Academically, the university focuses its activities on teaching, community engagement, and research. To this end, it has an educational model supported by formal quality assurance mechanisms, an integrated student support system that contributes to student retention and graduation rates, and a graduate profile assurance system implemented in all degree programs. At the same time, it has strengthened its scientific output and the awarding of projects with external funding —such as Fondecyt and international funds—, in addition to having international accreditation of its Internal Quality Assurance System (SIAC). Regarding its educational offerings, UDLA has three modalities: Traditional (daytime and evening), Executive and Executive Online.
City: Santiago, Chile.
