The University of Tulsa (TU), founded in 1894, is a private research university that has won 64 Goldwater Scholarships, 22 Fulbright Scholarships, 5 Marshall Scholarships, 3 Rhodes Scholarships, among other grants from the National Science Foundation, the Department of Defense and Morris K. Udall. It is recognized as one of the top 100 private research universities and number 79 among all best-value universities in the United States.
Its campus offers a series of academic, artistic and sports activities to facilitate a conducive environment for students. With more than 60 undergraduate, 40 postgraduate and 16 doctoral programmes, the university lays the foundation for the future of many students around the world. Likewise, it has a research program at the undergraduate level that is evident in students who have received Goldwater scholarships since 1995.
In addition to offering academic excellence, TU is recognized for its notable network of alumni, including CEOs of major companies.
