Presentation

It is a private, non-profit university founded in 1997. It has two campuses, one in Barcelona and the other in San Cugat del Vallés. It has more than four thousand students and eight Faculties.

The International University of Catalonia has as one of its objectives research in all areas of knowledge. It is in this area where the UIC motto is fully developed: Veritas Liberabit Vos ('The truth will set you free'), that is, the effort to promote knowledge that brings us closer to the most intimate reason for things that leads us to freedom.
