Cybercrime

New forms of crime that incorporate the use of technology are already a reality impacting our society. The challenges in prosecuting these offenses are undoubtedly numerous. One of the main challenges is their typical configuration and impact on the interpretation of criminal offenses. To address this issue comprehensively, a study of the doctrinal foundations and principal criminal categories is presented.

Racketeering

The complexity of defining criminal offenses directly impacts the implementation of the criminal justice system. Therefore, this course proposes an in-depth analysis of the conduct that constitutes organized crime, examining, among other topics, the usefulness of (abstract) endangerment offenses in a risk society, the protected legal interest as justification for criminal intervention, and the typical conduct.

Corruption of officials

Public corruption is escalating and having a significant impact on our economy. It is therefore important to review what has been done and what is proposed within this criminal justice system, understanding both the measures and the main elements of the criminal offenses that protect the public administration.

Economic Criminal Law

Understanding the fundamentals and the "speed" of economic criminal law is essential. This course focuses on the crime of money laundering and the liability of company directors and managers.
