• Pass the respective studies with a minimum duration of six (6) academic semesters and fulfill all the credits of the curriculum (67 credits).
  • Preparation of a thesis of the highest academic rigor and originality.
  • Proficiency in two foreign languages, one of which may be replaced by a native language.
  • The doctoral candidate is required to complete a three-month internship at a foreign university with faculty specializing in the research topics addressed in the doctoral dissertation. The University of Piura will facilitate contact with these universities and support the doctoral candidate in securing public or private funding for the internship. All expenses related to the internship, including university fees, travel, meals, and accommodation, will be the responsibility of the doctoral candidate.
