Perú  Yago de la Cierva 

President of the Villanueva University Foundation (Spain). He was the academic director of courses on Communication Skills at IESE Business School (Spain). He has dedicated his entire professional life to the four branches of communication: journalism (he founded and directed the international TV news agency ROMEreports), corporate communication, university teaching, and crisis consulting.  

Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Navarra (Spain), Master in Institutional Communication from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Italy) and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain).  

His professional interests cover three areas: crisis management, corporate communication in its various aspects, and the organization of large events as communication tools. 

He advises educational institutions on institutional communication. His latest book is *Leading Companies Through Storms and Crisis* (Pearson, London 2018), also published in Spanish as *Navigating Turbulent Waters – Principles and Best Practices in Crisis Management and Communication* (Eunsa, 2021). He also co-authored, with two colleagues, *Crisis Management in Universities: Case Studies, Best Practices, and Crisis Manual* (Eunsa, 2024), the result of a research project.
