Mc. Esp. Sergio Ivan Endo Ramos

Specialist in General Surgery from Ricardo Palma University. Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the National University of San Marcos. Diploma in University Teaching from the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the National University of San Marcos and FIDE, with a diploma as an expert in Multiple Intelligences and Emotional Intelligence from FIDE's Expert Training Program. EUSIM Level 1 Simulation Instructor and has completed numerous courses in simulation and debriefing. He has completed international internships in robotic and laparoscopic surgery at Mercy Hospital Miami, Florida, and in liver, pancreas, biliary tract, and duodenum surgery at St. Joseph Hospital Tampa, Florida. He served as Chief Resident at Vitarte Hospital and received recognition from the hospital for his outstanding work. He has several publications and has participated in various national and international conferences in his specialty.

Mc. Esp. Andrei Raul Portilla Justo

Medical Doctor and Surgeon from the José Faustino Sánchez Carrión National University. Specialist in General Surgery and Master of Medicine from the University of San Martín de Porres. Fellow in Catastrophic Abdomen and Diploma in Intestinal Failure from UFI Sanvite, Mexico. Training in Emergency and Trauma Ultrasound (USET) and Nutritional Ultrasound. Level 2 Clinical Simulation Facilitator certified by EuSim. Member of the International Surgical Society (ISS), Pan-American Trauma Society (SPT), Peruvian Society of General Surgeons (SCGP), and Peruvian Society of Endoscopic Surgery (SPCE). Undergraduate and postgraduate professor at the University of Piura. General Surgeon at Lima Este – Vitarte Hospital.

PhD. Peter Dieckmann

PhD and organizational psychologist, Senior Scientist at the Copenhagen Academy for Medical Education and Simulation (CAMES) and Professor of Health Education and Patient Safety at the University of Stavanger, Norway. He is an international authority on human factors, debriefing, and the design of work systems using simulation. He has published over 69 scientific articles, 40 book chapters, and has an h-index of 31. His research focuses on patient safety, experiential learning, and systems optimization using clinical simulation.

Dr. Juan Manuel Fraga

Medical doctor, Master in Educational Leadership, Master in Emergency Management, and Doctor of Health Sciences. Latin American expert in clinical simulation, with experience in the design and implementation of more than 13 simulation centers in Mexico and other countries. He has been a professor of medicine since 2006, a trainer of instructors in Mexico, Chile, Brazil, and Central America, former president of ALASIC, and co-chair of the scientific committee of the 2015 IMSH. He currently gives lectures on simulation, AI, and health education.

Dr. Federico Ferrero

Doctor of Social Sciences and Master in Educational Management. President of the Latin American Federation of Clinical Simulation (FLASIC). With over a decade of experience in health education, he has specialized in educational innovation, patient safety, and the design of simulation-based training projects. He has been a professor and researcher at the National University of La Plata and an international speaker.

Dr. Eva Miranda Ramón 

Doctor of Education and senior lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine of the National University of San Marcos. Coordinator of the Simulation and Learning Center at the same institution. She served as secretary of FLASIC (2021–2023). An expert in educational innovation, formative assessment, curriculum design, and interprofessional training, she has conducted numerous research projects and published extensively.

Mgtr. Soledad Armijo Rivera

Medical doctor and surgeon from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and specialist in Nuclear Medicine (University of Chile). Master's degree in Medical Education. Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator – Advanced, trained at the Center for Medical Simulation – Harvard Medical School. She has served as Director of the Clinical Simulation Center at the Catholic University of the North and President of the Chilean Society of Clinical Simulation and Patient Safety (SOCHISIM). Currently, she is a professor at Universidad del Desarrollo, Co-Lead of the Professional Development Program at SESAM, and Chair of the Research Committee of the TALK Foundation. She is also an editor, EuSim instructor, and co-author of simulation publications and manuals, including the Simulation Manual for Healthcare Institutions with Limited Resources.

Hugo Erick Olvera Cortés, M.Sc.

Medical doctor and surgeon from UNAM, with a Master's degree in Competency-Based Education. Coordinator of the Center for Teaching and Certification of Medical Skills (CECAM) – UNAM. EuSim Level 2 Advanced Instructor, accredited by the AHA in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Author of national publications and trainer in clinical simulation, debriefing, and scenario design courses. Actively participates in conferences and innovation projects in clinical simulation in Mexico and Latin America.

Mgtr. Marlova Silva Breuer

A registered nurse and midwife with a Master's degree in Medical Education from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, she is a clinical simulation instructor trained at the Center for Medical Simulation – Harvard University and Executive Director of SI Academia, where she leads international faculty development projects in clinical simulation. She has been instrumental in the creation and strengthening of numerous simulation centers in Latin America, co-founded the Chilean Society for Clinical Simulation, and consulted for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) on the implementation of simulation centers. A member of the INACSL-RIG LATAM regional group, she actively participates in the development of standards and best practices in simulation-based education.

Mgtr. Rosalí Aranzamendi Paredes

Medical surgeon, Master in Health Administration and Management, and clinical simulation instructor. Professor at the University of San Martín de Porres and with experience at the National University of San Agustín. She has participated as an organizer and speaker in clinical simulation courses and conferences, contributing to training in management, creation, and accreditation of simulation centers in Peru.

Ms. Mariela Zúñiga Jiménez

Registered nurse with extensive clinical and teaching experience. Coordinator of the Clinical Simulation Training Center at the University of the Americas (Chile) and Secretary of the Chilean Society of Clinical Simulation (SOCHISIM) 2025–2026. Holds a master's degree in university teaching and multiple diplomas in geriatrics, palliative care, teaching, and simulation. Actively participates in academic networks and educational innovation projects in simulation.

Mgtr. Pedro Junior Ruiz Pérez

Medical Doctor and Surgeon from the National University of Cajamarca. Specialist in General Surgery from Ricardo Palma University. Master's degree in Nutrition with a specialization in Clinical Nutrition from the National University of San Marcos. Level 1 Clinical Simulation Facilitator certified by EuSim. Research associate at the Clinical Nutrition Unit of OBEMET. Undergraduate and graduate professor at the University of Piura. General Surgeon at Lima Este – Vitarte Hospital.

Mc. Esp. Diego Vinciguerra

A specialist in Pediatrics and Pediatric Intensive Care, he coordinates the Simulation Laboratory at the Barceló Foundation. He is an EuSim facilitator and instructor in patient safety, debriefing, and clinical training. He has actively participated in international simulation conferences, including the Chilean Congress of Clinical Simulation, and has experience in teacher training programs, clinical management, and quality of care.

Mc. Esp. Patricia Reyes Montezuma

A pediatrician and neonatologist trained at Cayetano Heredia University in Peru, with experience in neonatal intensive care units, intermediate care units, and post-cardiovascular pediatric care. She is proficient in neonatal functional echocardiography and ECMO management. She has worked as an attending physician at EsSalud (Peru's social security health system), as a neonatologist at Clínica Delgado and other specialized centers. She has also taught at Cayetano Heredia University in Peru, contributing to practical training in pediatrics and neonatology.
