Module I

It explains and analyzes the biological basis of the central nervous system and understands the philosophical perspective of mind-brain duality.

Module II

The processes of neurodevelopment and the basic principles of neuropsychology will be presented, then the main psychopathologies in adulthood will be discussed.

  • Fundamentals of cognitive neuropsychology.
  • Clinical neuroscience of mental disorders
  • Neurodevelopment and neurodiversity: understanding to include.

Module III

The mechanisms of action of the main drugs on the nervous system will be explored, as well as the processes of neurodegeneration with clinical applications. Finally, experimental models that may have clinical impact in the future will be presented.

  • The chemical brain: action of psychoneuropharmaceuticals.
  • Declining brain: understanding neurodegenerative diseases.
  • Translational neuroscience: application of models
    experimental.

Module IV

This is a blended learning module where you will learn about the concept and application of computational neuroscience and neuroeconomics. You will also analyze the main advances in neuroscience and their dilemmas from a bioethical perspective.

  • Brain simulation: fundamentals of computational neuroscience.
  • Behavioral neuroscience: principles of neuroeconomics.
  • Bioethics and professionalism.
