Pedro Rodrigo Falcon Sarango

Master's degree in Marketing from ESAN University, Master of Marketing Science from ESIC Business & Marketing School (Spain), and Bachelor's degree in History and Cultural Management with a specialization in Marketing from the University of Piura (Peru). He holds diplomas in Public Policy (UNMSM), Public Management for Development (IDB), International Cooperation (USIL), Project Management (PMI-UDEP), and Research, Documentation, and Management of Cultural Heritage (UDEP-AECID-US). He has over 10 years of experience in the management, design, implementation, and evaluation of educational and sociocultural projects at the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture, the Center for Training and Tourism, and the University of Piura. Currently, he is a full-time lecturer in the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Piura, in the Cultural Management academic area, where he teaches courses such as Cultural Projects, Strategic Planning, Culture and Marketing, and Final Project, among others.

 

Cinthya Olivera Angeles

She holds a PhD in Humanities with a specialization in cultural studies from the University of Piura, a Master's degree in Marketing from ESAN University, a Master's degree in Marketing Science from ESIC Business and Marketing School, and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the National University of San Marcos. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at the University of Arts and Sciences of Latin America, the Scientific University of the South, San Ignacio de Loyola University, the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences, the International Polytechnic of Colombia, and COFIDE – Mexico, offering courses related to project management, innovation and product and service development, consumer behavior, agile methodologies, and design thinking for business development, among others. She has also worked in the Secretariat of Government and Digital Transformation of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and has been a consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank, among other organizations.

 

Dora Niquén Guevara
 

Master's degree in Marketing from ESAN University, Master of Marketing Science from ESIC Business & Marketing School (Spain). Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences from the Sacred Heart Women's University (Peru). She has completed supplementary studies in Trademark Protection (San Ignacio de Loyola University) and Digital Marketing (Peruvian University of Applied Sciences). She has served as head and deputy manager of optional business ventures at El Comercio Group, coordinator of the Brand Management Department at PROMPERÚ, head of regional projects at BBK Group, and is currently a Project Manager at Grupo Planeta. She has teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the areas of communication, advertising, advertising strategies and media, and brand management at the Scientific University of the South, CENTRUM PUCP Business School, San Martín de Porres University, Peruvian University of Applied Sciences, and San Ignacio de Loyola University.

 

Erika Lastra Neyra
With over 15 years of experience in project management, strategic alliance development, and audience development, she has served as Head of Cultural Management and Communications at UPC, Manager of the Culture Unit at Derrama Magisterial, and Director of the Access and Promotion of Information Department at the National Library of Peru (BNP). Currently, she is a social responsibility consultant for educational programs, an undergraduate professor at UPC in the Faculties of Contemporary Arts and Communications, and Director of specialized programs in Cultural Project Management and Project Management in Social Responsibility and Sustainability at UPC's graduate school.

 

Cristhian Rojas

He holds a degree in Communication from the University of Piura (Peru) with specializations in Marketing and Sales and Strategic Digital Marketing. He also holds a Master's degree in Cultural Management and a Master's degree in International Business Management from the Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M). He has worked at institutions such as the Menéndez Pelayo International University and Casa de América. He has collaborated on projects for the Peruvian Association of Curators and for the country's Bicentennial Project. He has also given talks for the Peruvian Ministry of Culture and the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Piura on content marketing for art and culture projects. He has coordinated the Cultural Accelerator at EAE Business School and served as academic coordinator for the Ibero-American Audiovisual Project Development Course. He collaborates on projects with Culturia, a consultancy and production company specializing in social innovation and citizen participation initiatives. Independently, he carries out cultural marketing projects and provides consulting services to clients in Spain and Peru.

 

Diana Guerra Chirinos

With doctoral studies in Cultural and Heritage Management from the University of Barcelona, she has served as Director of Studies at the Faculty of Gastronomy, Hospitality, and Tourism of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. She also teaches at the University of Piura in the History and Cultural Management program and in the Cultural Management program at the Lima Art Museum. She has been the General Director of Cultural Industries and Arts at the Ministry of Culture of Peru and Director of the Tourism Administration program at San Ignacio de Loyola University. In addition, she teaches in the following postgraduate programs: Master's in Cultural Heritage Management at the National University of San Marcos; Master's in Cultural Management, Heritage, and Tourism at San Martín de Porres University; Master's in Cultural Heritage Management at the National University of Trujillo; and Master's in Tourism at San Agustín University of Arequipa. She holds a Diploma in Applied Humanities, a Diploma in Management of Cultural Enterprises and Initiatives, a Master's degree in Cultural Studies, and has completed a course in Cultural Management at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. She has also taught in the Advanced Diploma Program in Cultural Management and Promotion at the Diplomatic Academy of Peru. She has led courses, workshops, and seminars at various public and private institutions dedicated to culture and tourism, both in Peru and abroad. She served as a Jury Member for the National Culture Prize (2017, 2018, and 2019). She also served two terms on the Board of Directors of the Peruvian Association of Adventure Tourism, Ecotourism, and Specialized Tourism (APTAE). She has been a member of the National Culture Commission of the Ministry of Culture, the Technical Team for the Good Practices in Public Management Award - Citizens Today, and the Tourism Guild of the Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL).

 

María del Pilar Riofrío Flores
Master of Arts Administration from Columbia University (USA). Bachelor of Arts in History and Cultural Management from the University of Piura. She completed an internship at the Culture Department of the UNESCO Office. She received a scholarship from the Japan International Cooperation Agency to pursue a Diploma in Integrated Museology. She was Coordinator of Museums and Educational Programs for the Culture Department of the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima. Currently, she is the director of the Central Museum, part of the Museum Network of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru. She has also published: the 2022 Survey Results Report on the State of Museums in Peru; the Agenda for the Sustainability of Museums in Lima (2019); and the Study of the Supply of Museums and Exhibition Centers in Lima (2017).

 

Marialejandra Puruguay Guillén

A graduate in History and Cultural Management from the University of Piura, she holds a Master's degree in Public Management from the San Martín de Porres University and a Master's degree in Public Management from EUCIM Business School. Currently, she is the director of the Academic Program in History and Cultural Management at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Piura, where she teaches courses related to cultural heritage and the management of cultural projects. She also chairs the board of directors of the Piura Charity Society. She is a member of the CLÍO Culture and Citizenship association, which she founded, and through which she has developed outstanding heritage projects, including “Trujillo Bicentennial,” which received the 2021 LLAMA National Curatorial Award. In the public sector, she has worked for the Ministry of Culture, where her project “Chan Chan, Cradle of the Chimú Kingdom” was selected by the UNESCO World Heritage Volunteer Center in 2013. She has also worked as a consultant for the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism, focusing on the management of cultural heritage and its enhancement for social use through heritage interpretation and heritage education. She has served as a juror in national competitions for cultural projects, contributing her expertise in evaluating initiatives aimed at preserving and promoting heritage and the arts.

 

Mariol Arias
With a Master's degree in Cultural Management and a Postgraduate degree in Cultural Management and Policy, she has complemented her training with an MBA in Innovation in the Arts from the Global Leaders Institute and executive programs at the University of Maryland and the London School of Economics. She has served as Director of Cultural Management at the Museum of Memory and Tolerance, where she leads outreach projects and manages off-site exhibitions. She is also CEO of her consulting firm, Mariol Arias – Creative Management, which specializes in cultural project development, public relations, and fundraising.
With over 20 years of experience, she has directed important institutions such as the Miguel Bernal Jiménez Morelia Music Festival and the Carlos Prieto International Cello Competition. She is a professor at the Pan-American University, the University of Piura, and the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, where she teaches courses in Cultural Management.
