Undergraduate students of the Faculty of Law interested in attending the III Inter-University Conference on Constitutional Law “Human Rights and Constitutional Justice” (hereinafter, the Conference), are informed that it will be held from Thursday, November 5th to Saturday, November 7th of this year on the Piura campus.
To obtain the certificate of participation, attendance at least at the scheduled 80% sessions is required. The certificate will be issued electronically.
However, if students have pre-scheduled classes that conflict with the event, they must indicate, at the time of registration and by emailing the convention organizers (convencionderecho@udep.edu.pe), the specific courses and times that will prevent them from attending. This information will be reviewed by the organizing committee, and once confirmed, the corresponding certificate will be issued as an exception.
On the other hand, the Law School Council has approved the validation as a free-choice course of the Conferences for undergraduate students of the Piura campus.
The requirements to obtain this validation are as follows:
1. Register for the event, notify the academic secretariat of your registration certificate and expressly state your desire for validation via email.
2. Obtain the certificate of participation in accordance with the stated attendance requirement.
3. After the event, you must submit a well-founded review of one of the presentations from the plenary sessions or academic panels of the Conference.
● The work must be sent to the email address jornadasinteruniv.derecho@udep.edu.pe no later than Monday, November 30th at 11:59 pm.
● The review must be at least two pages long and include the student's name and university ID number. It must be written with 1.15 line spacing, Georgia font size 12, and normal margins (2.5 cm top and bottom, and 3 cm left and right).
● The file must be sent in Word format and titled with the following format: “first name.surname” (for example: maria.lopez).
4. Once the certificate has been verified and the work approved, the student will be notified to register their application in SIGA, within the deadline determined by the academic secretariat.
5. Students who complete the entire procedure will receive credit for one free-choice course in the 2027-I period.
