Contrary to those who predicted the disappearance of administrative law, over the last few years reality has demonstrated not only its vitality, but also its importance in allowing effective action by the Public Administration, respecting the rights of those administered. As a counterpart to this boom, we have gone from having a few rules that regulated certain procedures, to having an increasingly large number of laws and regulations, which regulate – sometimes in great detail – the actions of individuals.
The correct understanding of the regulations, which allows us to have an overview and not get lost in the incidentals, requires having a solid base of principles and concepts, as well as knowing the way in which said regulations are applied in practice.
The master's degree in Administrative Law and Market Regulation is aimed at graduates in Law or Lawyers who have graduated from prestigious universities who, with an entrepreneurial spirit, wish to acquire knowledge about administrative law and economic regulation, with a vocation for service in public and private institutions and with the ability to transmit ethical principles.
In addition, it is important that the candidate has good oral expression and writing, as well as social skills to work in a team. Additionally, to take full advantage of the studies throughout the Master's degree, it is recommended that the participant have professional experience, which they can also share with their classmates, enriching the entire group.
After having completed the Master's Program, the graduate will be able to understand the principles and rules that guide the actions of the Public Administration, in its different modalities. In this sense, you will be able to work in the public administration or in the private sector, improving your skills and abilities for professional work. Furthermore, the graduate will not only have obtained knowledge about positive regulation, which can change at any time, but will also know the fundamentals of the institutions, which will allow them to adapt to different moments and work environments.
