PresentationSpecsTeachersInvestmentPostulation

 The rotation

The rotation in the Critical Care Department of the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases (INEN) offers the medical student a unique educational experience in the comprehensive management of the critically ill cancer patient.

During this stage, students participate in the care of patients with severe complications arising from cancer or its treatments, in a highly specialized environment that integrates critical care medicine, oncology and a multidisciplinary approach to care.

Beyond clinical practice, this experience invites reflection on the human dimension of intensive care. Students learn to address the medical and emotional complexities involved in supporting patients and families in highly vulnerable situations, guided by specialists committed to excellence and professional sensitivity.
