Rotation in Infectious Diseases

PresentationSpecsTeachersInvestmentPostulation

 The rotation

The Infectious Diseases rotation offers students hands-on experience in the diagnosis and management of infectious diseases in both outpatients and inpatients. During their rotation, they will delve into various pathologies, learn to interpret diagnostic tests and administer antimicrobial treatments, and work collaboratively with other specialists.

The rotation at the Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen National Hospital (HNGAI) offers a unique opportunity to join the Infectious Diseases and Geographic Medicine Unit, one of the leading national centers for the treatment of infectious and tropical diseases. The hospital maintains a strong connection to this specialty thanks to the legacy of Dr. Almenara, a pioneer in bacteriology and tropical diseases in Argentina. In this highly complex environment, students will be able to participate in the comprehensive care of patients, discuss real clinical cases, and strengthen their clinical skills in a highly specialized learning setting.
