Within the framework of the 2026-II Student Mobility Program, the Faculty of Human Medicine presents the clinical rotation offer in the Internal Medicine Service of the Delgado Clinic, which includes on-the-floor practice. Hospitalization, Outpatient Clinic and Intensive Care, to be held from January 4 to February 12, 2027.
- Gain additional practical experience in the field of internal medicine, which will allow them to consolidate their knowledge and skills regarding the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients.
- Human medicine students enrolled in the 2026 II semester.
- Cumulative index equal to or greater than 13.
- Having passed the medical clinic course.
- Exposure to high-level clinical practice, in a private hospital setting with care for patients with pathologies of varying complexity.
- Strengthening clinical reasoning, through participation in the comprehensive evaluation of the patient, development of differential diagnoses and clinical decision-making.
- Comprehensive management of the adult patient, addressing acute and chronic diseases and understanding the interaction between multiple comorbidities.
- Experience in a multidisciplinary environment, with interaction with specialists from different areas and health professionals, promoting a comprehensive view of medical care.

The Delgado Clinic is characterized by offering specialized and highly complex medical care, with a multidisciplinary medical team and an infrastructure designed to provide comprehensive patient care.
The clinic has a modern infrastructure of More than 64,000 m², 10 floors, 170 beds, 90 consulting rooms and three emergency access points, including a helipad. It also has emergency areas, intensive care, a surgical center and advanced technology for diagnosis and treatment.
Monday to Friday:
- Outpatient Clinic: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
- Hospitalization (Floor 6): 7:00 am to 2:00 pm.
- Intensive Care Unit7:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The application, selection, and acceptance process will take place on the following dates:
- Document and application submission deadline: October 23, 2026.
- Evaluation of files and interviews: Until November 6, 2026.
- Publication of accepted students: November 9, 2026.
- Submission of commitment to accept vacancy: Until November 16, 2026.
Applications will be accepted virtually until October 23, 2026 at 13:00 hours, through the online application form provided by the Interinstitutional Relations and Internationalization Unit (UREINI).
The internship will only begin if we have 2 students enrolled and accepted.

The application must include the following mandatory documents:
- Application form for the student mobility program, with the applicant student's data.
- Cover letter, addressed to the Director of the Professional School of Human Medicine, indicating the student's personal data and a brief explanation of the reasons that led him to apply to the Student Mobility Program.
- Curriculum vitae of the applicant, undocumented (maximum 2 pages).
- Academic record or certificate that proves the required cumulative index.
Applicants are responsible for ensuring the truthfulness and authenticity of the data and documents submitted.
Applications submitted after the deadline or that do not meet all the required criteria will not be accepted.
The selection process is the responsibility of the Evaluation Committee, and consists of two phases:
- First phase:
Evaluation of the submitted documentation and the qualification of the candidates.
- Second phase:
Interviews with applicants.
The evaluation considers the student's motivation, academic trajectory, plans during the mobility period, and adaptability to optimize their experience in the program.
The results of the call will be communicated through your institutional emails.
The accepted student must submit the Commitment to accept vacancy, which must be duly completed and signed within the established timeframe.
You must also submit the following documents:
- Health certificate that certifies good physical and mental health.
- Simple copy of Valid and current National Identity Document.
- Simple copy of valid health insurance.
- Simple copy of Complete vaccination record, According to the Vaccination Protocol Guidelines of the Faculty of Human Medicine, it must necessarily include complete vaccinations against hepatitis, diphtheria, tetanus, influenza, and COVID-19, according to current regulations.
- Proof of payment.
Students who leave the Student Mobility Program without justification, after being evaluated and accepted, will be excluded without the possibility of participating in future calls, and may be subject to a penalty, depending on the call.
Offenses during the application process or during the validity of student mobility will be sanctioned in accordance with the Regulations of Disciplinary Measures for students of the University of Piura.
