Dr. Enrique Banús (Spain)
He holds honorary doctorates from the universities of Oradea and Arts & Design, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He studied German Philology, Romance Philology, and Comparative Literature at the Universities of Bonn and RWTH Aachen (Germany). He holds a Master of Arts (MA) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from RWTH Aachen University. He is a translator and interpreter.
He has over 20 years of teaching experience in cultural management at various European and Latin American universities. He is Dean and Director of Postgraduate Studies and Extension at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Piura and Director of the University of Piura's Cultural Center. He has published books and articles in indexed journals, and participated in research projects as both principal investigator and participant.
Mag. Jorge Valero Berzosa (Spain)
Master's degree in Theory and Criticism of Culture from Carlos III University (Madrid). He has published articles in indexed journals focused on comparative literature: “Of Rivers and Railways: Construction and Deconstruction of European Identity in Magris and Sebald” (co-authored with Dr. E. Banús), “Tarkovsky and the Haiku: Russian Cinema between East and West” (co-authored with Dr. E. Banús), etc. His academic interests focus on the comparative study of literary themes.
Dr. Inmaculada Lergo (Spain)
A writer and Latin Americanist, with a degree in Geography and History and a doctorate in Hispanic Philology from the University of Seville, she has published *Peruvian Poetic Anthologies (1853-1967): Search and Consolidation of a National Literature* (University of Seville, 2008), the result of her doctoral dissertation. She has also coordinated and edited the collective volumes *Olga Orozco: Territories of Fire for a Poetics* (University of Seville, 2010) and *Living in the Poem: Homage to Carlos Germán Belli* (Point de Lunettes, 2013), an author on whom she specializes and whose anthology *These Who Are Here…* (2015), with a prologue by Mario Vargas Llosa and also published by Point de Lunettes, she has also edited. Within the field of Peruvian poetry and Latin American literature, she has also published a facsimile edition of the anthology *Contemporary Poetry of Peru* (Renacimiento, 2016), as well as numerous articles. As a poet, she has published verses in various magazines such as Palimpsesto and Entorno Literario, where she currently serves as editor. She also writes literary criticism for the "Los Lunes" book section of the online newspaper www.elimparcial.es.
Mag. Renato Guizado (Peru)
He holds a Master's degree in Latin American Literature from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. He is a professor of World Literature at the University of Piura. He has published the books *Detail, Rhythm, and Syntax in the Poetry of José María Eguren* (2017) and *Form and Meaning in the Poetry of Ricardo Silva-Santisteban* (2018), in which he analyzes the influence of other national literatures. He is currently a doctoral candidate in the Spanish: Advanced Research in Language and Literature program at the University of Salamanca.
Dr. Jorge Valenzuela (Peru)
He holds a PhD in Latin American Literature from the Complutense University of Madrid and is a Full Professor in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at UNMSM. As a literary critic, he has published a two-volume Manual of Latin American Literature (2009, 2011); The World of the Classics: Readings of Rodó, Stuart Mill, and Vargas Llosa (2012); Committed Principles: Mario Vargas Llosa Between Literature and Politics (2013); Fiction and Freedom: Four Essays on the Poetics of Fiction by Mario Vargas Llosa (2017); and Narration: 50 Years Later (2018), in addition to articles in his field in Peruvian and international journals.
Mag. Julio Isla (Peru)
He holds a Master's degree in Latin American Literature from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, where he graduated with a thesis on the Peruvian Ballads of Manuel González Prada. He has contributed to the Historical Dictionary of Translation in Latin America, published in Spain, and has written introductions to editions of Lord Byron's dramatic poem Manfred and William Shakespeare's Antony and Cleopatra. He has published the plays Noah's Dream (2015) and Arachne, the Weaver (2020), as well as articles, short stories, and plays in various journals. He is the editor of the literary journal Lucerna and of the publishing house Alastor Editores.
