Diploma in History of Peru

The Diploma in Peruvian History aims to provide tools for understanding and analyzing the different periods of Peruvian history, from the beginning of Andean civilization to the present day. In this sense, the Diploma seeks to be a guide for the discovery—or rediscovery—of the realities and challenges of our history throughout time.

Through asynchronous master classes and reading materials, different areas of specialization and research will be addressed, different themes from which you will delve deeper into those historical events that can be considered milestones in the knowledge of the history of Peru.

• To know and understand the most significant historical facts and processes of Peruvian prehistory and history.
• Recognize and analyze the importance of historical institutions, estates, and communities over the long term.
• To propose possible fields of research in national and regional history that enable a more enriching vision of our past.
