Dr. Higinio Marín
CEU Cardenal Herrera University – Spain
Full Professor of Anthropology at CEU Cardenal Herrera University. He has taught at the University of Navarra, the Public University of Navarra, and the Catholic University of San Antonio in Murcia (1998-2006), as well as at the Institute for Business and Humanism and the Institute of Family Sciences. He directed the Chair of Social, Moral, and Political Sciences, and is currently an adjunct professor at the Edith Stein Institute of Philosophy in Granada. He is the author of *Aristotelian Anthropology as Philosophy of Culture* (1993) and *In the Public Domain: Essays on the Social and on Man* (1997). He coordinated and edited several collective works, including *Sexuality in Contemporary Thought* (2002) and *Nation and Freedom* (2005). Encuentro published his book *The Invention of the Human* (2007).

With a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Barcelona, a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina, and author and co-author of 10 books and countless articles and academic chapters, Liliana Irizar, the new director of the Research and Innovation Division at Sergio Arboleda University, holds just some of the credentials of this new director.
Dr. Carlos Hakansson
University of Piura – Peru
A lawyer from the University of Lima, he holds a Doctorate in Law from the University of Navarra, Spain. He is the holder of the Jean Monnet Chair in European Constitutional Law (European Commission) and a member of the Peruvian Association of Constitutional Law. He served as Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Piura (2007-2013) and currently teaches Constitutional Law, Comparative Constitutional Law, and Integration Law at the same institution. He also teaches in the Master's Program in Public Law and directs the Institute for Human Rights and Democracy.
Mag. Juan Pablo Quintero
University of Piura – Peru
Master's degree in Advanced Studies in Terrorism from the International University of La Rioja. He studied Literature at the Andrés Bello Catholic University. He served as Coordinator of Interinstitutional Relations for the Venezuelan Antarctic Program and as an analyst in the exact and natural sciences sector for the National Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO in Venezuela. He currently teaches at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Piura.
Dr. Concepción Naval
University of Navarra – Spain
Professor of Educational Theory. She has taught at the University of Navarra since 1993. She served as Vice-Rector (2001-2012) and Head of the Department of Education (1996-2001). She is currently Dean of the Faculty of Education and Psychology. During 2012-13, she was a Visiting Fellow and Oliver Smithies Lecturer at Balliol College, University of Oxford, and a Visiting Faculty Member at Teachers College, Columbia University. She edits the journal Estudios sobre Educación and is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Social Science Education, the Journal Citizenship, Teaching and Learning, and History of Education and Children's Literature, among others.
Dr. Enrique Banús
University of Piura – Peru
He holds honorary doctorates from the University of Oradea and the University of Arts & Design in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He studied German Philology, Romance Philology, and Comparative Literature at the Universities of Bonn and RWTH Aachen (Germany). He holds a Master of Arts (MA) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from RWTH Aachen University. He is a translator and interpreter. He has over 20 years of teaching experience in cultural management at various European and Latin American universities. He is the Dean and Director of Postgraduate Studies and Extension at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Piura and the Director of the University of Piura's Cultural Center.
Mag. César Orrego
Ombudsman's Office of Piura – Peru
A doctoral candidate in Constitutional Law, with a master's degree in Human Rights, Rule of Law, and Democracy in Ibero-America from the University of Alcalá. He has taught courses at the University of Piura, including Society and Politics, Foundations of Law, and Administrative Law. He is currently the regional head of the Ombudsman's Office in the Piura region.
Dr. Yago De la Cierva

He holds a law degree, a master's degree in institutional communication, and a doctorate in philosophy. He has worked in three areas of communication: as a journalist, he was the founder and director of an international television news agency; in the business world, he was the director of corporate communication at IESE and advises educational institutions on their institutional communication; and in the field of training, he has taught corporate communication and crisis management for 15 years in Spain and Italy.
Mag. Eugenio Artaza
University of Piura – Peru
A doctoral candidate in Humanities with a specialization in Cultural Studies at the University of Piura, with an MBA from ESAN University, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Piura. He has served as an advisor to the Cultural Management Office of the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima and is currently a teaching collaborator at the University of Piura.
