She has directed international cultural institutions in Peru, such as the Alliance Française of Trujillo, and has developed educational, heritage, and audience development programs.
She holds a degree in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage (UMSA, Argentina) and a master's degree in Diagnosing the State of Conservation of Historical Heritage (UPO, Spain). She currently works as a researcher at the Center for Research in Art, Matter, and Culture (MATERIA-UNTREF) and teaches Conservation Management in the Diploma Program in Conservation of Documentary Collections in Libraries and Archives at the National School of Librarians (BNMM). Specializing in the conservation of documentary collections, she has extensive experience teaching preventive conservation, restoration, and documentary heritage management through courses, workshops, and lectures in academic and professional settings. She has worked in public and private institutions on conservation, restoration, and preservation policy coordination.
National Teachers:
A historian graduated from the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM), with a Master's degree in Social Management (PUCP) and diplomas and courses in archival science, records management, and digital archives. With over 15 years of experience in public and private archives, she has participated in several endangered archive rescue projects funded by the University of California (MEAP-UCLA) and currently leads the Archive and Conservation Team at the House of Peruvian Literature.
Associate Professor and Researcher at the University of Piura since 2016. PhD in Architecture from the University of Navarra (2012) and Master's in Advanced Architectural Projects from the School of Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (2011). Visiting Professor at ETH Zurich with a grant from the Caja Madrid Foundation (2009-2010). Specialization in Rehabilitation and Restoration in Architecture from the University of Navarra (2005). Qualified as a RENACYT researcher, his research focuses on heritage, building design, and bioclimatic architecture.
A professional specializing in cultural tourism, online reputation analysis, and the management of tourism and heritage projects, with a strong academic background and experience in research, university teaching, and consulting. Currently a doctoral candidate in Tourism at the University of Málaga, with a background in qualitative and quantitative data analysis applied to tourism marketing and cultural heritage management. He has published scientific articles, participated in international conferences, and collaborated on projects related to sustainability, digital innovation, and strategic decision-making in cultural destinations.
With a PhD in Tourism (USMP) and a Master's degree in Art History and Heritage from Bordeaux 3 University, she also holds a Master's degree in Museology from the École du Louvre (France). She has completed a Diploma in Museology and Museography at UNMSM and a Diploma in Cultural Mediation, Community, Arts, and Technologies (UNA and CLACSO-Argentina). She has directed the History and Cultural Management Program at the University of Piura and is a university professor and researcher with 20 years of experience. She has also directed the Collection Protection Department of the National Library of Peru and served as an advisor to the Ministry of Culture. In addition, she has curated numerous exhibitions and developed cultural mediation projects.
Cultural manager, teacher, and journalist. She studied Communications (USMP), Literature (UNMSM), and earned a master's degree in Cultural Management, Heritage, and Tourism (USMP), where she also completed doctoral studies in Culture, Cultural Heritage, and Tourism. She holds a master's degree in Communication Management and Digital Marketing (CEREM-Spain) and two specializations from FLACSO: Cultural Management and Communication, and Culture and Cities: Cultural Policies for Urban Transformation. She has worked in various public and private cultural spaces. She coordinates the Diploma in Cultural Management at the Ruiz University and teaches at UPC. She is currently the Director General of Cultural Industries and Arts at the Ministry of Culture (MINCUL).
A lawyer from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP), with a Master's degree in Museology and Cultural Management from Ricardo Palma University and an Expert Member of the International Scientific Committee on Legal Affairs of ICOMOS, he has taught at the postgraduate level at the Diplomatic Academy of Peru, UARM, and UPC. He has extensive experience in public administration, having served as Minister of Culture, advisor to the Minister, head of Legal Counsel for Executive Unit 007 of the Ministry of Culture, member of the High-Level Commission for the Repatriation of the Machu Picchu Collection from Yale University, and member of the commission that drafted the Regulations for the General Law of the Cultural Heritage of the Nation.
PhD in Art History from the University of Seville (Spain). Bachelor of Arts from the National University of San Marcos (Lima). Postgraduate studies in University Teaching, Public Policy, and Cultural Communication. Professor in the Department of History and Art at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Piura (since 1998). He teaches history, Peruvian and world art history, and visual culture. Specialist in the graphic work of the chronicler Felipe Guamán Poma de Ayala (16th century). He is currently researching urban and artistic phenomena and their relationship to economic and cultural processes in the Piura Region.
Invited Speaker:
A conservator and restorer from the National University of San Marcos, she is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Cultural Management at the University of Piura. Specializing in the conservation of archives and photographic and artistic collections, she has experience in public institutions and private projects. She has served as head of conservation for the Martín Chambi Project and was part of the Conservation Coordination team at the National Library of Peru. She is currently in charge of conservation at the Raúl Porras Barrenechea Institute.
