Specialization Course in Heritage Interpretation

PhD candidate in Tourism, Bachelor's and Master's degree in Humanities from the University of Alcalá de Henares, with a specialization in art and heritage. Master's degree in Museography and Museology from the University of Barcelona, postgraduate studies in Cultural and Environmental Heritage Interpretation (University of the Balearic Islands), and in Art Management (Bocconi University).

She began her career at the Reina Sofía Museum, followed by residencies at European museums. She received scholarships to pursue advanced studies in Museology (Osaka) and in Heritage Conservation at the Nara Conservation Institute (Japan). She has worked as a consultant and advisor for public and private entities on various museum and interpretive projects. She received recognition from ICOM Peru for creating the first Association of Museologists and Heritage Interpreters and for organizing the First Congress of Museology and Museums. Currently, she is the Director of R&D&I at AMIG-Peru, an advisor on heritage projects at ABC Cultural, and a professor at the University of Piura.

He holds a degree in Prehistory and Ancient History from the University of Barcelona (1985). He specialized in heritage management and interpretation at the Barcelona Heritage School (1990). He worked as an archaeologist for the Government of Catalonia (1989–1992) and as a consultant in heritage and cultural tourism at the European Heritage Centre Foundation (1992–1996). He was a professor at the Barcelona Heritage School (1992–1996). In 1996, he founded Stoa, a consultancy specializing in heritage interpretation and enhancement. He has directed over one hundred heritage interpretation and enhancement projects in Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Italy, and Peru.

He is currently responsible for the "Cultural Heritage Management" course in the Master's Program in Cultural Management at the International University of Catalonia. He also teaches in the Master's Program in Architecture and Historical Heritage at the University of Seville and has lectured and given presentations at various Spanish and Latin American universities.

She completed an internship at the Department of Culture of the UNESCO Office. She received a scholarship from the Japan International Cooperation Agency to pursue a diploma in Integrated Museology. She was the Coordinator of Museums and Educational Programs for the Culture Department of the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima.

She is currently the director of the Central Museum, the Network of Museums of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru, and a professor in the Master's Program in Cultural Management at the University of Piura. She has also published: the 2022 Survey Results Report on the State of Museums in Peru; the Agenda for the Sustainability of Museums in Lima (2019); and the study on the Supply of Museums and Exhibition Centers in Lima (2017).

A writer, he holds a degree in archaeology and a master's degree in religious studies from the National University of San Marcos, where he is also a doctoral candidate in philosophy. He has completed diplomas in cultural management at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and the Ortega y Gasset Foundation in Argentina. He has taught at the Private University of Piura and the Center for Tourism Training (CENFOTUR), and currently teaches at the National University of San Marcos. He has over twenty years of experience in various types of archaeological interventions, as well as in museum work. He served as an advisor to the Vice-Ministerial Office of Cultural Heritage and Cultural Industries (2019). Since 2008, he has directed the restoration and community engagement projects at the Mateo Salado archaeological complex (Lima), where his creation of the Cultural Continuum methodology is one of his major contributions. For his work in Mateo Salado, he has received recognition from the April 10 Cultural Center (2022), the La Huaca es Poesía Cultural Association (2023) and the Municipality of Pueblo Libre (2022 and 2024), including the decoration “Ambassador of the Bicentennial Capital”.

A historian and cultural manager with a degree from the University of Piura, she has extensive experience in directing and implementing cultural and educational projects in both the public and private sectors. She holds a Master's degree in Public Management from the University of San Martín de Porres and a Master's degree in Public Management from EUCIM Business School. Among the cultural projects she has developed are "Trujillo Bicentennial – Exhibition of Visual Arts and Heritage Education," which earned her the 2021 LLAMA National Curatorial Award, and the project "Interpreters of Chan Chan, Cradle of the Chimú Kingdom," selected for the 2013 Patrimonito Program of the UNESCO World Heritage Volunteer Center. Currently, she is the director of the Academic Program in History and Cultural Management at the University of Piura and president of CLÍO Culture and Citizenship. She has also collaborated with various public institutions, such as the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism, contributing her expertise in heritage and cultural management.

An archaeologist from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and with a master's degree in Museology from New York University (United States), she has over 12 years of experience in museums, education, and tourism, both locally and internationally. She has worked in public and private institutions on projects related to collections management, exhibition curating, public programming, and event production.

Between 2016 and 2020, she served as Chief Curator at the Larco Museum and subsequently assumed the role of content manager for the Peru Pavilion exhibition at Expo 2020 Dubai. This exhibition was awarded the Gold Medal for Best Exhibition Design by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) among the medium-sized pavilions at Expo 2020 Dubai.

She currently works as a university teacher and provides services to various institutions through MUSEA Perú, the consulting firm specializing in museum services that she founded in 2019.
