Dr. María Pía Chirinos

Vice-Rector and Senior Lecturer at UDEP. She holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Navarra. Her international experience includes teaching in Rome and research stays at Notre Dame (USA), Germany, and Austria. A prominent author of books on anthropology and ethics, her work has a global reach in Europe and the Americas. In the Master's program, she teaches the course on Ideologies, drawing on her experience as a researcher and Vice-Rector to analyze contemporary schools of thought. Her approach fosters the development of critical thinking skills essential for understanding social reality and leading independently in complex environments.

Dr. Jorge Martín Montoya

He holds a PhD in Philosophy and is a professor and researcher at the University of Navarra. He has been a visiting professor at the Pan-American University (Mexico) and a visiting researcher at the University of Notre Dame (United States), the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium), and the University of Texas at Austin (United States). His work focuses on the philosophical critique of modernity, the impact of technology on our understanding of humanity, and the study of care, vulnerability, and personal and social responsibility. He is the author of several books and academic articles.

Dr. Genara Castillo

With a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Navarra and a researcher accredited by RENACYT, she specializes in Philosophical Anthropology and Humanistic Education. She has a solid track record in postgraduate training, having taught in the PhD program in Humanities at UDEP and the PAD program. She also collaborates with the Judicial Academy on ethical training for the justice sector. In this master's program, she contributes her extensive experience in the analysis of the anthropology of culture and human essence, providing students with critical tools to understand the ethical and social dimensions of human beings in contemporary reality.

Dr. Victor Velezmoro

With a PhD in Art History from the University of Seville and a Full Professor at UDEP, he specializes in Cultural History and Cultural Policy, focusing his work on Peruvian artistic heritage and visual culture. Author of numerous publications on national identity and regional history, he integrates his San Marcos University education with public and cultural management experience. In the master's program, his expertise is vital for analyzing human development through its institutions and aesthetic expressions. He provides students with a critical perspective on heritage, an essential tool for leading projects with historical rigor and cultural sensitivity.

Dr. Melissa Llauce

With a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Navarra and a law degree from UDEP, she is a researcher specializing in Ethics, Philosophical Anthropology, and family studies. She has a solid teaching background at the postgraduate level and at the Judicial Academy, where she teaches courses on judicial integrity. Her interdisciplinary training, supported by the Carolina Foundation Scholarship, allows her to address contemporary dilemmas such as artificial intelligence and human dignity. In the master's program, her experience is key to integrating ethics and law, providing students with tools for purposeful, responsible, and human-centered leadership.

Fr. Carlos E. Guillén.

Doctor of Theology from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Rome). Associate Professor at the University of Piura. He teaches theology courses in various undergraduate academic programs and the Theology of Marriage and Family in the Master's program at the Institute of Family Sciences. Member of the Institutional Research Ethics Committee. As a priest, he works primarily in university ministry and family counseling.

Dr. Mónica Ríos

Dean of the Faculty of Communication at UDEP and PhD in Philosophy from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Rome), graduating summa cum laude. Her multidisciplinary profile integrates an MBA and Industrial Engineering with a deep specialization in Ethics and Anthropology. Author of works on social responsibility and integral development, she has extensive experience in public administration and international cooperation. In the master's program, her expertise is key to addressing ethics and corporate responsibility, providing students with a humanistic perspective applied to the management of organizations and the strengthening of the contemporary social contract.

Dr. Yolanda Espiña

Profesora principal de la UDEP. Doctora y Licenciada en Filosofía por la Universidad de Navarra y Titulada Superior de Música (Piano). Ha sido Profesora Titular de Estética en la Universidad Católica de Portugal, investigadora residente en el John Cage Trust (Nueva York) y Lady Davis Fellow en la Universidad Hebrea de Jerusalén. Realizó estudios doctorales en la Universidad de Múnich y el Hegel-Archiv, y ha sido profesora invitada en las universidades de Valladolid, Navarra y São Paulo (UNESP), entre otras. Su investigación y publicaciones se sitúan en el cruce entre arte, filosofía y trascendencia, ámbitos privilegiados para interpretar los desafíos y transformaciones del mundo contemporáneo.

Dr. Manuel Prendes

With a PhD in Hispanic Philology from the University of La Rioja (Spain), he specializes in historical narrative and comparative literature, boasting a vast body of academic work on naturalism and the cultural ties between Spain and Latin America. He has directed editorial projects for the Miguel de Cervantes Virtual Library and published critical studies on key authors such as Pérez Galdós and López Albújar. In the master's program, his philological rigor is crucial for students to master the analysis of narrative processes and cultural identity, essential tools for understanding the evolution of thought through literature.

Dr. Crisanto Perez

With a PhD in Hispanic Literature and Literary Theory from the University of Navarra, and specializing in narratology and contemporary Peruvian narrative, he is a renowned author and recipient of international novel awards such as the Ciudad de Salamanca (2021) and Ciudad de Badajoz (2025). In the master's program, he teaches the course Fiction and Postmodernism, where he applies his experience as a researcher and writer to analyze current narrative paradigms. His approach allows students to decipher the production of literary discourse and identity in contemporary culture, merging academic rigor with the perspective of an author at the forefront of literature.
