We live in a global context marked by a dialectic of conflicts that polarizes the fundamental concepts of person, society, and family. Faced with this fragmentation and excessive specialization that limits our vision, there is an urgent need to rethink our reality from a humanist and critical perspective. It is time to establish a new “ecology of the human being” that recovers the essential ethical values for contemporary democracy.
In Peru, ideological polarization has fragmented our reality, highlighting the lack of a national project with shared objectives and the erosion of national identity. Given the need for a new social pact that transcends immediate political pressures, the Master's Program in Humanities at UDEP positions itself as a strategic educational opportunity.
Our pedagogical model is based on the UDEP Educational Model, which proposes to understand training under the following values: diversity, completeness, formalization, accreditation, and a dual scientific-professional and humanistic nature.
The training focuses on developing a professional profile that incorporates a humanistic vision centered on the person and under an integral vision of their training (in all its dimensions: professional, personal, and spiritual).
