The Humanities magazine, founded by Víctor Andrés Belaunde in 1918, publishes articles, essays, notes and reviews of the most varied topics of humanistic interest and with special attention to problems linked to the identity, history and social and cultural life of the Peru that make up Peruvianness as a living synthesis. The University of Piura assumed management of the magazine in 1991, by special order of the Association for the Development of University Teaching (ADEU).
