A Doctor of Letters and literary editor, she graduated from the University of Salvador (USAL), where she is a tenured professor in the Faculty of Philosophy, History, Letters, and Oriental Studies. She taught at the University of Piura until 2010. Subsequently, she served as Academic Secretary of the Graduate School at the Catholic University Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo (USAT, Chiclayo, Peru).
