Specialization Course: Installation as a Hybrid Practice

The main purpose of this course is to explore and understand the characteristics of installation as a hybrid artistic genre, spanning from its beginnings and references in the second half of the 20th century to its evolution today. The installation is presented as a form of artistic expression that transcends disciplinary boundaries, fusing scenic elements with various artistic manifestations.

Throughout the classes, participants will acquire knowledge for the production of installations, learning to place their works in this area and enrich proposals from other disciplines. The uniqueness of the installation lies in its interdisciplinary nature, which allows it to be approached from different artistic fields without the need for prior knowledge.
