In an increasingly interconnected world, a comprehensive and interdisciplinary understanding of Latin American reality is ever more relevant. The Diploma in Latin American Studies is designed to provide students with analytical frameworks for understanding the diverse and interconnected realities of Latin America, emphasizing cultural, political, and socio-economic variables.
Aimed at scholars from all fields of study – especially those who have completed undergraduate or postgraduate studies, school or university teachers – or those who want to complete their studies, improving their ability to interpret current problems in this region of the world, this program is offered entirely online through asynchronous classes, thus allowing for high flexibility in studying the subjects.
Participants will be able to exchange learning spaces with national and international professors, and obtain a complementary qualification that allows them to work in various professional fields, such as (historical) research, teaching, political consulting, management of cultural cooperation projects, social development and conflict resolution through intercultural dialogue, humanitarian and community work, tourism, international analysis specializing in Latin America, the world of communications, NGOs and economic investment.

The program combines theory and practice to offer a comprehensive learning experience. Through recorded lectures, participants will explore key concepts at their own pace and apply what they've learned by analyzing case studies. Active and consistent participation is required from students.
